Beginning Painting – Summer 2025

In this painting class, students will be guided through various steps and techniques to build a painting. Paintings will be completed in few sittings allowing students to explore the advantages of this approach. This direct way of painting encourages artists to be decisive about their painting and to be spontaneous. As an additional option, students are welcome to work in a mixed-media approach, as they learn how to build their artistic experience.
You will need your own materials for this class. Please refer to the suggested materials list below.
