Learn from one of our greatest local art masters using either soft pastels or oil paint. Please NO OIL PASTELS.
In Oil painting, Mireille teaches how to compose, mix paint, soften edges, and paint in layers. She uses the Chiaroscuro technique and wet-on-wet technique.
Additionally, you have the option to work with Soft Pastels– a beautiful and tactile medium. You will learn how to blend and render texture, how to compose a painting, and how to use light and dark to apply layers on layers of paint to obtain a luxurious, incredibly colorful painting.
Each student can work on their own subject matter and will receive individual instruction tailored to their own experience. This class is for all levels, from beginner to advanced students.
You will need your own supplies for this class and please let us know if you will be working in soft pastels or oil paint. Please NO OIL PASTELS.
