Railyard Arts Studio offers a dynamic space for creative learning, providing two flexible workshop formats. Whether you’re an independent instructor looking to manage your own students or prefer a hassle-free experience with our studio handling registration and marketing, we have an option to suit your needs. Explore our workshop structures and find the best fit for your teaching style!

Option 1: Collaborative (Vendor-Managed)

Best suited for established businesses that manage their own student registration and marketing.

Rental Fee: $100 for the first hour, then $75 for each additional hour. 

    • The vendor is responsible for creating their own graphics, advertising, and managing registrations through their own platform. Vendor will include Railyard Art Studio logo on all materials.
    • Railyard Arts Studio will list the workshop on our website, including a link to the vendor’s website for student registration.
    • Vendor will supply Studio with graphic for website. 
    • If the vendor provides a flyer, we can display it at our location. 
    • Refund Policy: If the workshop is cancelled for any reason, the instructor will receive a 60% refund of the rental fee. 
Optional Add-On ($50)
  • Railyard will create a promotional graphic for your event
  • Instructor may use/post the graphic however they would like
  • The provided graphic will be used for
    • (1) Railyard Arts newsletter (over 2000 recipients!)
    • (1)  Railyard Arts social post (Instagram & Facebook)
Rescheduling & Cancellation

Rescheduling Due to Weather or Illness of Instructor

  • Must be agreed upon by both parties to reschedule
  • The instructor is responsible for rescheduling and providing Railyard with the new date 
  • The instructor manages all communication and logistics with registered students and the studio.  

Cancellation Policy

  • If the workshop is canceled, the instructor will receive 60% of the rental fee as a refund. 
  • The $50 add-on fee (for graphic design and marketing) is non-refundable as Railyard will have already completed the promotional work.

Option 2: Railyard-Managed

Railyard Arts Studio handles registration and determines workshop pricing. 

No rental fee for the instructor!

  • Railyard Arts Studio sets the instructor’s fee and determines student pricing!  The studio shall determine the compensation to be paid to the instructor.  
  • The studio will price workshops so they can run with a minimum of three students. Please speak to us if you have different requirements. 
  • Full refunds will only be given to students due to low enrollment (below 3 students), weather, or illness.  
  • Materials Fees: The instructor shall provide the Studio with a detailed price breakdown of any materials fees, which may be incorporated into the total amount payable to the Instructor.  The Instructor may elect to receive compensation and material fees as separate payments or to have material fees paid directly to the Instructor by the student.  
Rescheduling & Cancellation
  • No refunds will be issued for student cancellations. 
  • Workshop tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to a friend or family member. 
  • If fewer than three students register, Railyard will cancel the workshop, and students may choose a full refund or credit.  
  • If Railyard cancels due to inclement weather or instructor illness, students may choose a refund or credit. 
  • Weather-related cancellations will be posted on our website, and students will be notified via email. 
  • Credits expire one year from the date issued.
