Juliette Lawless
Camps: Week 1
As a passionate continuing artist, I am always eager to work with new materials. My current work centers around illustration and mixed media. I hold a bachelor’s in Fine Art and a master’s in Art Education. I’ve spent the past three years teaching middle school art where I discovered the joy of helping others express themselves creatively. I believe each artist’s journey is unique. I emphasize the importance of approach and self-expression to create a space for individuals to freely explore, experiment, and grow with the support of technique.
Althea Llewellyn
Camps: Week 3 & 4
Clay has been the driving force of Althea’s life for nearly two decades. She simply cannot keep herself away from the material! An up-and-coming artist with a rich artistic background, she now shares that passion with students of all levels. She has a BFA in Ceramics from SUNY New Paltz University.
Her personal work bridges contemporary design and fine art while remaining grounded in craft traditions. She is a skilled wheel-thrower with a distinct whimsical sensibility, Althea creates refined functional forms alongside imaginative, otherworldly ceramic creatures that blur the line between utility and sculpture.
She comes from a lineage of New York–based artists and is the first in her family to focus specifically on ceramics. In addition to her studio practice, Althea leads workshops and classes, encouraging students to approach clay with curiosity, confidence, and technical discipline.
She currently resides in Katonah, New York, where she serves as Co-Owner of Majestic Hudson Gallery & Boutique, a family-founded business established by her mother, Jennifer Llewellyn, in 2018.

Jamie Milligan
Camps: Week 7
Jamie has been drawing, painting, and sculpting since before she could walk. At an early age she knew that art would always be her life, which ended up taking her to many interesting and unique places. Jamie attended NYU where she was one of 35 students selected to be in the Studio Art program. While attending NYU, she worked for any artist she could find who was willing to let her in on their process. During the summers she taught painting, drawing, and sculpture at The Huntington School of Fine Arts working with young students to create college portfolios. After graduating NYU, she was part of a small group of production artists creating lamps, tableware, and home décor. Her love for teaching lead her to the 92nd Street Y where she taught art classes to amazing young artists in NYC. After a small break to create two little human beings, she is excited to get back to sharing her love and passion of art with others.
