Whether a true beginner or returning to watercolors after a long hiatus, this class will provide the opportunity to learn a new medium, expand your skills, and build confidence in watercolor. We will begin with the basics, working from a combination of life and photo reference to cover a new subject each week. Learn color theory, basics of drawing and how to approach watercolor through in-class demonstrations and exercises. Each session ends with a personal project where students choose a subject that inspires them. If you are new to watercolor or hoping to gain more experience, this is the class for you!
Is This Class Right for Me?: This class is for adults new to watercolor or with little experience looking to build their confidence.
What Will Work I On?: Exact projects vary, but weekly exercises will include basic techniques and color theory, still life, landscapes, botanicals, and more!
