Back by popular demand: calling all experienced potters: learn how to create beautiful glaze finishes on your pottery!
In this workshop, Railyard Arts Studio Member Mindy Katz will teach you two special glaze techniques:
Peacock & Ombré.
This workshop is open to pottery students & artists with experience in glazing. All workshop participants must bring their own bisque-ware pieces to glaze.
Pieces to bring:
2 bowls 4″H x 6″W or larger
Participants should also plan to bring 3 glazes, plus a Flux Glaze* (Amaco):
2 Glazes can be in the same color family (one dark, one light), plus one accent color.
OR
3 different glaze colors
*Please note there are many Flux colors besides Honey Flux Check out the Amaco website to see!
Glazes can be purchased from Clay King, Glaze Queen, or Dick Blick.
