Get into the holiday spirit while creating one-of-a-kind ceramic pieces in this festive handbuilding workshop! Using GR Forms (ceramic molds that make creating consistent shapes easy and fun)) as your base, you’ll learn accessible clay-building techniques—perfect for beginners and seasoned makers alike. Then, give your creations a seasonal touch by applying holiday-themed ceramic transfers, adding intricate patterns and designs without the fuss of hand-painting. You will have the option of creating 1 large dish, or 3 small dishes.
In this hands-on ceramics session, you’ll:
Shape functional or decorative pieces using GR forms
Experiment with texture, form, and surface design to give your work personality.
Apply colorful holiday transfers to personalize your creations.
Learn insider tips for clean transfer application and successful firing results.
All materials and kiln firing are included. Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup in time to brighten your home—or to give as a heartfelt, handmade gift.
