How to Mix Colors

This relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for anyone who’s always wanted to understand color but never really learned how to mix it with confidence. We’ll take the mystery out of the process by painting a few simple color wheels for your reference and exploring how colors blend and relate to one another. We’ll also look at value, the lightness or darkness of a color, and create an easy value scale to help everything click into place.

Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to say, “Why didn’t someone teach me this sooner?”  This is a supportive, confidence-building class that finally takes the guesswork out of making and mixing color so you can just enjoy the painting experience.
This workshop will be taught using acrylic paint. All supplies are included!
