Floral Design: Dried Posy Bouquets

Do you want to up your gift wrapping game? Maybe add an elegant personal touch to table settings or holiday cards? Compose an elegant personal gift for the one who’s hard to shop for in this workshop! For those special people in your life, local artist & florist Grayson Guthrie will teach you how to make up a charming dried posy (a 6” or smaller arrangement) in a few easy steps. Students can expect to make 3 dried flower arrangements in this 2-hour workshop, yours to take home or give as gifts to your favorite Val/Galentines.

About Grayson
Grayson graduated from the Maryland Institute and College of Art and Design before working as a flower farmer and floral designer in Baltimore. A graduate of Oregon State University’s Permaculture Design program and alumna of the New York Botanical Garden’s School of Horticulture, Grayson is now a landscape and floral designer who works primarily with native plants, meadows and cut flowers. When they’re not botanizing or foraging, Grayson can often be found managing their home teaching meadow and monarch butterfly sanctuary, Speaking Ground.
