Introduction to Wheel Throwing Workshop- March

This one time workshop will cover basic wheel-throwing skills from centering your ball of clay to making a basic form! Students will learn the steps of centering clay on the wheel, pulling up walls, and shaping your piece.

You will get to keep one piece from this workshop which will be trimmed and glazed by our instructor. You will be notified when your pieces are ready for pickup (typically takes 2 weeks)!

– Instructor Demo
– Center your ball of clay
– Pull up the walls
– Shape your piece
– Continued practice with guidance
– Finalize your piece & choose glaze color
– Clean your station
– Pick up your glazed masterpiece in approx. 2 weeks
