Instructor: Katie Sheehan, Hippie Feet Tie Dyes
Join Hippie Feet Tie Dyes for this family workshop where you will create a heart tie dyed shirt in time for Valentine’s Day. You will learn step by step instructions including making a stencil, folding, tying and placing dyes to make an accurate design. For ages 6+. Younger children may require some adult assistance, ages 6-13 must attend with an adult (free of charge, unless making your own shirt). All supplies will be provided. Participants will take home their dyed shirt to wash out at their convenience.
Have something you’d like to upcycle? Participants are also invited to bring a white or light colored additional item from home made from natural fibers (cotton, rayon or linen) to dye in the event there is extra dye/time remaining.
